No matter how long they’ve been away, no matter what the reason, no matter what they have done or not done, invite them to come home and experience the abundant love and mercy of our Heavenly Father! Catholics Returning Home is a ministry of compassion and reconciliation for non-practicing Catholics who are seeking answers to questions about returning to the Church. This ongoing series offers informal sharing and an update on the Catholic Church.

Catholicism 101 is an Adult Education program offered on various Friday evenings each fall. Participants are invited to bring a salad, hors d ‘oeuvre or dessert to share. We provide the wine and the speaker of course! We have had topics that range from current affairs in the Church and world, ethics, spirituality, Biblical interests, marriage and annulments, and the Last Things.

To accompany grieving individuals on their journey to wholeness.
Grief is a normal and natural reaction upon the death of a loved one. It can begin a journey that we did not choose to take, but when shared with others, can often help us heal and grow. Sessions are offered periodically throughout the year.

The mission of the Couple to Couple Ministry is to assist engaged couples in their preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage, and to help the engaged couple build skills for a successful relationship as husband and wife. Ministry Couples are trained through the Diocese of Cleveland Marriage and Family Office. Once trained they are assigned engaged couples at the direction of the parish priests. They meet engaged couples two to three times in a casual setting and review the results of the Prepare/Enrich tool, sharing wisdom gained through their own experience of marriage. Most ministry couples will meet with an average of two couples per year. We presently have 13 trained couples in the Couple to Couple Ministry.
TIME COMMITMENT: Volunteers must be trained in the Diocesan Prepare & Enrich Program and are given approximately two assignments per year.

R.C.I.A is the process through which persons become full members of the Catholic Christian community. Through rites, catechesis in the Catholic faith and practice, and the fellowship of a sponsor and team members, the candidate’s ongoing conversion is supported and encouraged.

At Baptism, each of us was given at least one spiritual gift, known as a charism. Spiritual gifts are special abilities which are intended to represent Christ within us and to be a channel of God’s goodness for others. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church (2003), all charisms ought to be exercised in service to God. We invite you to discover your spiritual gifts by participating in our Spiritual Gifts Discernment Process where you will have the opportunity to identify your charisms and discover God’s will for your life.
