Grade School and High School Basketball (3-12)
Registration will begin Friday, September 1. You will notice there is a slight increase in basketball registration fees this year. In an effort to be transparent about the increase and how those monies are used, we have included an average per player programming cost. We are hoping to offset some of the player fees with fundraising. This will help supplement uniform and equipment costs. With successful fundraising, we can keep registration fees down.
1. CYO Team Registration Fees – $100
2. Equipment Refresh/Replacement – $25
3. Uniform Replacement Fund – $25
4. Admin Fees – $25
We are including 3 phases of basketball registration, early, regular, and late. If you register early, you will be able to take advantage of some savings on your registration fees. If you wait, you will incur an increased fee. The late fee money does go into the general athletic fund to support the continued growth and development of our St. Hilary Athletic Ministry. A mid-October deadline allows for coaches to begin practices as soon as CYO allows, providing more development for players and teams. Practices for basketball can begin the week of October 23. Player assessments for middle school teams will take place during the week of 10/23-10/27. Stay tuned for information on specific days and times. Remember to register yourself to coach when registering your athlete.

Munchkin Basketball (K-2)
Athletes are taught basic basketball skills through playful and small sided games. It is a great introduction to basketball and other St. Hilary families! This program is run by parent volunteers. Remember to register yourself to coach when registering your athlete.
Munchkin Basketball with take place in Horning Hall on the following dates: November 17, December 1, 8, and 15, January 12 and 19.

Cheer
If your athlete participated in Fall Cheer, they can register for Winter Cheer at a discounted price of $35. If they did not participate in Fall Cheer, registration will cost $70 to cover the uniform cost. Winter Cheer will begin after students return from Christmas Break.

Coaches
Remember to register yourself to coach when registering your athlete! Our ministry is only possible through the support and evangelism by our adult volunteers. If you are a first time CYO coach, follow the steps on the St. Hilary Athletic Association website to earn your coaching credentials. If you have never coached before, there are several training sessions you need to attend and they do take some time to complete.
