Sometimes we need some time away from the distractions in order to focus on ourselves and on our faith. At St. Hilary, we have different opportunities throughout the year to take some much needed time to focus and reconnect with God.

Fr. Norm Douglas presents a dynamic vision that focuses on ways to affirm, equip, and support Catholic men and women in their daily life mission of being the Church in their world of family, workplace and community. Fr. Norm makes an annual Thursday evening presentation in mid-October open to both parishioners and guests and active or inactive believers. A great Evangelization opportunity.

Journey Women gather to spend individual quiet time with Jesus and share faith stories.
All women are invited to a partial day of retreat every fifth Monday of the month. We gather for fellowship, prayer, reflection, and relaxation. All are welcome!

Providing an opportunity for men to expand or initiate their relationship with Jesus Christ, our best Friend and Teacher
Since the beginning in 2000 of the Diocesan Catholic Men’s Conference, St. Hilary Parish has been its premier supporter, each year sending the largest parish group. Some men are already participating in the parish Men’s Group, Knights of Columbus, Bible study groups , etc. Others may be less (or not) actively involved in parish activities. They keep returning each year to enjoy the opportunity to listen to exciting speakers, go to confession, and to join in song and prayer with 500 or more happy men of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds. Many men also invite family members and friends to attend who are no longer practicing Christians or who are dissatisfied with their lives and are sincerely searching for a meaningful life style.
