Adults

There is always time to add a little fun into your day, especially when it’s with your friends and family here at St. Hilary. Each week our groups meet to play a card game or a game of basketball with the wonderful people they have met at the parish. You are welcome to join in at any time!

Bridge Groups (Ladies/Couples)

Members enjoy prayer, lunch and bridge each month in members’ homes.

Card Party Wednesdays

Everybody is invited to join a congenial group of parishioners for Euchre or Pinochle on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to have fun and share with others in a Christ-based community. Members of the Parish Staff join in on occasion and enjoy the social aspect when available. We gather in Meeting Room #1 (St. Vincent de Paul Meeting Room) near the parish offices. People who attend leave with a smile. Some bring a snack to share if they like. But, most importantly, bring yourself.

“Card party Wednesday is a very nice afternoon to play cards with friends. It is a relaxing 2 hours, using our mind, and socializing with the other card players. Coffee and water is served and a snack is often provided by the card players. New people are encouraged to come, and the “hosts” are happy to teach the games to you, if you want help. Pinochle Rules

The St. Hilary Men’s Golf League is a 9-hole golf league played at Good Park. The league plays on Monday evenings and the first tee time is around 4:30 p.m. The season also includes an 18-hole outing at an area course to be determined. The league typically has 20 to 24 members organized into 2-man teams.

Men are invited to come to the open gym at Horning Hall to play basketball on Mondays, year round, from 8:30-10 p.m.

Classic Sabers 50+

Join the new Classic Sabers 50+ Ministry!

Classic Sabers provides a monthly opportunity for parishioners ages 50+ to gather in prayer, focus on faith and fellowship, grow in your relationship with God, and provide support to the parish community. Social Activities include dining together, travel, entertainment, and other activities. We do not meet in July or December. This ministry has been created as a welcome initiative through parish council as a part of the new five year plan, with a focus on activities for our members who are age 50 plus. $20 dues per year.
