Interested in becoming Catholic or know someone who is?

We're holding one series of Inquiry sessions this summer on Wed. evenings, 7-8:30 pm, from June 19-Jul 24, for those interested in learning about the benefits of belonging, believing, and becoming Catholic. This is a "No Strings Attached" approach to asking questions and getting answers about Catholicism. For those who desire to enter afterwards, the process for becoming Catholic will begin in September. Please call Randy Malick in the parish office or e-mail rmalick@sthilarychurch.org.

Theology of the Body for Teens and Young Adults

Teens and young adults are invited to Theology of the Body for Teens. This class will encourage young(er) people to embrace the truth about love and sexuality. The sessions will be led by Jason & Julia Solomon, and are open to teens and young adults ages 14-35 +/-. Classes will begin Monday, June 17th, from 6:30-8:30 pm, at St. Hilary Parish in Fairlawn, and continue on Monday evenings for six more weeks. A cost of $20 covers the workbook and supplies. Please register in advance with Jason at 330-687-2914 (call or text), or jsolomon@sthilarychurch.org.

PSR Registration for 2013-2014

Parents of students who attend public school or will be attending public school next year, please contact the PSR office to register your child(ren). PSR on Sunday mornings from 8:55-10:05 is held at the school for children age 3 through kindergarten. PSR on Monday evenings from 6:45-8:00 pm is held at the school for children in grades 1-8. For registration information, contact the Religious Education Office, 330-867-1055 ext. 213 for Jeannie Hohlefelder or ext. 211 for Marcia Anway.

Why should I send my child to PSR? Children receive religious education to deepen their understanding of and embrace the richness of our faith. Students become active participants in the parish community of believers.

Catechists and aides are also needed to share their faith during next year’s 2013-14 Sunday and Monday classes. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Jeannie Hohlefelder at jhohlefelder@sthilarychurch.org.
