The St. Hilary Giving Tree begins Nov. 19/20!
The 41st Annual St. Hilary Giving Trees will be in the church and in the Gathering Area on Nov. 19 and 20 with many tags for children. We also help the parents and seniors with gift cards for groceries. We wish to thank everyone for your continued support of this big project that assists many families that are experiencing difficulty in providing Christmas for their families.
All families and seniors are given to us by agencies and schools that are aware of the family situations. We appreciate your help by providing new clothing and a toy that are on the tag. Please wrap your gifts and tape the tag SECURELY on your package. PLEASE, IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE BOX, I ASK IF YOU COULD PLACE THEM IN A GIFT BAG. IF YOU TRY TO TIE THE BOXES TOGETHER…THEY COULD FALL APART WITH THE MOVING TO OUR BAGGING AREA. ALSO PLEASE WRAP ALL GIFT CARDS IN A BOX OR TAPE THE GIFT CARD ON TOP OF A BOX OF CANDY OR COOKIES. PLEASE DO NOT PUT THE GIFT CARD JUST IN AN ENVELOPE AS THE CARD CAN EASILY BE LOST WITH THE MANY GIFTS THAT COME IN. PLEASE WRITE THE AMOUNT OF YOUR GIFT CARD ON THE CARD SO THE SENIORS WILL KNOW HOW MUCH THEY CAN SPEND.
Another request….when you choose your tag…please note the top right hand corner of your tag. This tells you what school or agencies that you have chosen. If you would lose your tag, you will know the section your child, family, or senior is in. If you have any questions or lose your tag…please call Betty at 330 475-9587
PLEASE HAVE ALL GIFTS IN BY NOON ON DECEMBER 11. The schools begin picking up the gifts by 5:00 p.m.
Each child is living in a family with hardships. We are all experiencing the difficulty with our economy this year, but these families, for many reasons, cannot provide Christmas without our help. With your help and God…we can give so many a Blessed and Happy Christmas this year. We Truly Thank You!
