Christmas Giving Tree

**We still hgave about 50 tags remaining on the trees! Please consider picking up a tag this week. Gifts are due back under the tree on Sunday, Dec. 14 at noon!

The 44th annual Christmas Giving Trees will be in place next weekend, November 22 and 23. Please read the following important details.

We will have approximately 1,400 tags on the trees. There are so many hurting children represented on these tags, along with heads of families and seniors. This year we have persecuted refugees from North High School. Each one of these children, seniors, and families are given to us by agencies and school counselors that are aware of the families/child’s situation.

We are asking that when you take a tag from the Christmas Trees that you take a picture on your phone so that if the tag is lost, you will know what’s on the tag along with who it should go to. If the gifts don’t come in, the workers have to purchase the gifts on their own. All gifts must be in by noon on December 14 so that when schools come in at 5 p.m. that evening we will have everything bagged and ready for the agencies and schools to pick up.

If you have more than one box for your tag, please place the boxes in a gift bag, and not just tie them together with a  ribbon. In the process of moving gifts they can be separated. Please also place gift cards in a box or tape with a box of candy or cookies, and not just in an envelope under the tree. Please write the amount on the card so that the seniors will know how much they can spend. Perhaps with your gifts you can write a letter of encouragement to the children, seniors or families to let them know you are thinking of them!

We are so grateful to St. Hilary for your generosity over these past 44 years! Your love and gifts have brought so much joy to these families. God Bless you for all your have done and will do to help the many in need in our local community!
