St. Bernard Hot Meal Ministry
The St. Bernard Hot Meal Program provides meals for an ever increasing number of individuals and families. Volunteers cook a full course dinner, setup, serve, and cleanup. The evening offers opportunities to interact with those in need of encouragement and hope.
St. Hilary Parish will prepare and serve dinner for the St. Bernard Hot Meal Program in the St. Bernard Social Hall (enter from State Street). If you’ve never served at a hunger center before but always wanted to, this is the perfect opportunity. You will be a blessing and receive many more blessings in return! Adults and students 16 and older are welcome. (Students volunteering for service hours for the first time must have a parent call Lisa Smith at 330-929-8612 for a permission slip).
Like to bake? We also need 20 dozen cookies for the evening’s dessert. This is another wonderful way to help feed the hungry in our community. Drop off cookies in the kitchen by Noon on Sunday, April 21. Please use only disposable trays and containers. Your generosity is always appreciated!
